It is a question that is proposed in many different situations, from team sports to the machining industry. How do you know whether change is really a good idea?
I have been involved in such equations in my position. Some of these ideas were implemented before for other companies. They did it as a mere “copy cat” situation. Other ideas were new altogether. These required not only engineering review, but an understanding of what unexpected outcomes may occur if a change is made.
Examples include implementing: air purge, seal implementation, grease for life bearing conversion, oil lubrication system, acoustic control system and balancing control system. The important thing is to look at all factors and ensure that this will be a positive change. We have been involved in many changes that have been beneficial. Are you looking for a change? Let’s discuss it!
